Kayaking & Standup Paddle Boarding

Explore the inlets and coastal areas by kayak, one of the only ways to reach some of the more difficult to access coves and hidden caves. Stand-up paddle boarding is becoming an increasingly popular way to explore some of the Isle of Wight’s surrounding waters – you can even paddle your way around the famous “Needles” rocks and Lighthouse

Surfing & Bodyboarding

Surfing and bodyboarding are very popular on the Isle of Wight, and there are some excellent spots to do it with sandy shores and good waves in the right seas

There are also many options for windsurfing and kitesurfing, with good access to many of the beaches making it easy to bring your own equipment if you prefer

Wind & Kite Surfing

The Isle of Wight is one of the UK’s best spots for any windsurfer of any ability, and being an island, you can always find the right beach to launch from

It has a range of conditions from down-the-line wave sailing, to flat water safety for beginners

If the wind is not blowing, don’t worry, you will never get bored- there really is something for the whole family
